- In Simone Christen’s little kindergarten room in Bern, Switzerland there stood a quaint painting corner filled with whimsy and riddled with inspiration. Some of her earliest memories of painting go back to this wonderful painting corner. Art was always present in her life thanks to her parent’s steady encouragement of her artistic interests. Their enthusiasm for painting and drawing sparked Simone’s pursuit of art throughout her entire childhood and youth. During an exchange year in the USA, she was able to take daily art lessons. These lessons quickly became the highlight of her time here.
