Tulip on Gray

The tulip is a perennial favorite of artists, in part because they’re so perfectly shaped (and perhaps because they symbolize perfect love). Here, artist Jennifer Goldberger proffers an up-close look at two tender white tulip blooms on a simple, neutral gray ground. • Jennifer graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor's degree in painting and printmaking.
