• Nick Dautlich’s early artistic inspiration came from numerous family trips to Europe’s mountains and lakes as well as time spent in the vast pine forests of his native Sweden. “Growing up with European parents meant that I was raised on a diet of fables and fairytales,” says Dautlich. “Those landscapes left an imprint of tranquility in me, which I continue to seek out as a photographer.” Today, Dautlich loves to travel while pursuing his passion for photography. He is particularly drawn to America’s Pacific Northwest, where he goes in search of inspirational landscapes.
