• Shawn Frederick, an alumnus of the famed Brooks Institute, is based in Marina Del Rey, California, and is driven to search for and create that great storytelling image. In doing so, he has navigated the globe extensively over the past thirty years. His travels have taken him from the Isles of Croatia, to the Castles of Slovenia, and the great mountain ranges of Switzerland, Canada, Morocco and Chile to the epic sand dunes of the Eastern Sahara Desert and beyond. Shawn’s work is represented and showcased in over 35 countries and within more than 100 magazine, advertising and book titles. Shawn strives to have his pictures tell an insightful story about his adventures and the subjects of which he captures. Today he spends much of his time creating story lines for his gallery collections and researching new locations to travel and shoot.
