An accomplished interior designer, Debra earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has more than 25 years of experience designing residential, commercial, and institutional environments. Her work blends architectural precision with artistic vision to deliver spaces that are both functional and inspiring.

Before joining Ethan Allen Sarasota, Debra founded Devil in the Details Design, successfully managed more than two dozen full-scale projects, and earned recognition for her ability to transform interiors with purpose and beauty. Her portfolio includes design contributions for Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Facilities Design & Construction Department in Baltimore, Maryland, where her work was featured in leading design publications. She also owned, restored and operated a 200-year-old waterfront Victorian inn, The Hambleton Inn B&B, in St. Michaels, Maryland, which earned the highest regional rating for accommodations.

Debra’s design philosophy centers on creating environments that reflect her clients’ lifestyles while balancing aesthetics, comfort, and functionality. Known for her collaborative approach, exceptional listening skills, and refined eye for color, she builds trusting relationships that result in spaces tailored to individual needs.

Beyond design, Debra is an award-winning artist and marketing strategist who believes every project deserves a compelling story. Whether curating a single room or an entire home, she approaches each assignment with careful attention to detail, creativity, precision, and heart—ensuring every client feels truly at peace with their new space.
