April Goodman

Prior to working in interior design, April was a certified sommelier working in the wine industry. Realizing that she had always been a designer at heart, working on projects for her own homes and those of friends and family, she went back to school for interior design and started a design firm of her own. There, she worked on all types of projects from renovations and home refreshes to ground-up new builds. Upon joining Ethan Allen, April has found delight working with clients at various stages in their lives, transforming their spaces with timeless, heirloom-quality furnishings.

April is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was selected to work on Pilsbury Castle, Design Home 2024, which introduced her to the then-manager at Ethan Allen’s Edina Design Center, where she eventually came on board as a designer herself.

When April is not working, she loves to spend time with friends and family. She also loves to travel and has been to 21 different countries, even having lived in Croatia for several years. She also loves cooking, exploring cultural and art centers, and simply curling up with a good book.
