- Chenille, like velvet, is a pile fabric with a nap. Depending on the angle of the pile and the angle at which the fabric is viewed, some areas may appear lighter or darker than others. Boucle fabrics are woven of curly, knotted, or looped yarns. The novelty yarns create a pile which results in a texture that is soft to the touch.
- Solvent cleaner. Spot clean using a mild, water-free solvent or dry-cleaning product. Clean only in a well-ventilated room and avoid any product containing carbon tetrachloride or any other toxic material.
