- Woven velvets are truly three-dimensional fabrics. Their threads are intertwined and cut to create a pile surface. Pile fabrics reflect and absorb light at varying degrees. Finishing effects such as mottling or crushing may enhance the appearance of the pile surface.
- Solvent cleaner. Spot clean using a mild, water-free solvent or dry-cleaning product. Clean only in a well-ventilated room and avoid any product containing carbon tetrachloride or any other toxic material.
