Ethan Allen wood furniture is made with pride. From lumber selection to the final inspection, the focus is on producing quality furniture that will meet not only our standards, but yours as well. Please refer to our use and care manual for instructions on how to prolong the beauty of your new piece of furniture.
Ethan Allen shall select and utilize the best shipping method for your order based on the item and its packaging. Delivery on all items shipped via parcel post and in-home deliveries within 50 miles of an Ethan Allen design center are free.
In-home delivery fees:
We can only ship to destinations within the 48 contiguous United States. Rush delivery is not available. We regret that we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or to international locations. Special and remote location deliveries such as island deliveries requiring ferry service will be special quoted and coordinated by our Internet Service Center professionals.
Once your order is placed, here’s what you can expect:
Items shipping via parcel post:
When your order is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email. When your order ships, you will receive another email including a tracking number. We estimate in-stock items will arrive within 7 to 10 days. If you have any questions regarding the status of items shipped via parcel post, please contact our Internet Service Center professionals and we will be happy to assist you.
Items delivered by our in-home delivery service:
You will receive a confirmation email for your order which will include contact information for the Ethan Allen service location that will complete the in-home delivery.
Should the original estimated delivery dates change, your local Design Center or our Internet Service Center will contact you to provide updated information. When your order arrives at your Ethan Allen service location, they will contact you to schedule your in-home delivery. If you have any questions regarding the status of your items, please contact your local Design Center or our Internet Service Center professionals and we will be happy to assist you.
In-home delivery items are unpacked, inspected and prepared prior to delivery and will be set up in your home. We regret that we cannot install electronic equipment in our furniture. Delivery time may be increased for orders subject to in-home delivery fees.
Prior to placing your order, it is important that you consider where the items will be placed, and any potential delivery obstacles. It is important that your furniture be able to be delivered through all entryways, elevators and up or down any stairways. Measure the height and width of your entryways, including staircases, hallways, elevator doors and interiors. Make note of any fixtures, decorative moldings, and interior walls, ceiling heights, stairwells and banisters that may be obstacles once items are inside. Consider the furniture to be delivered and determine if it can go straight through entryways or if it will have to go in at an angle or on end.
Room measurement
Before purchasing products; be sure to consider windows, closets, heating vents and electrical outlets within the room. We strongly recommend using our room planner to plot your furniture placement. Be sure to include all items you plan to purchase, and include smaller items such as accent tables, benches, and ottomans as they have a space impact in any room.
Measure your electronics and components
Measure your television and other components that you would like to place inside of your furniture. You should measure your television, or the television you intend to purchase, before you purchase the furniture you plan to house it in or on and have the outside dimensions available in width, depth, and height. This is very important as, for example a 48"” television may be more than 48"” wide overall.
