    Grassia used fabric stories from our collection as the foundation for his palette. The finished textile-inspired images were then printed on canvas, embellished by hand, and framed at our workshop in Passaic, New Jersey.

    Joseph Grassia grew up in New York City in the 1950s and ‘60s. He cites his Aunt Mickey as his greatest creative influence, as she introduced him to the wonders of New York’s theaters and museums.
