    Our highly skilled artisans weave each cane top by hand in a centuries-old, Asian-inspired pattern. Each highly intricate top takes one person up to two days to weave. The rattan is cut into strips by machine, trimmed by hand to ensure that the strips are all the same width, and then cleaned. Depending on its size, a cane top will require from 180 to 235 rattan strips.
