Hand-stitched using the “yo-yo” technique popular in the 1920s, in which tiny circles of fabric are gathered up at the edges and sewn together to create a three-dimensional effect. The result is a fluid plane of vibrant pinwheel rosettes in gingham, florals, plaids and stripes.
