Now in its tenth year, the Lend A Hand campaign raises awareness, support, and appreciation for the good works being done by charities throughout the country. And each year, the Today Show’s Al Roker visits five of these organizations in five days, presenting each with a substantial donation.

For the third consecutive year, we are proud to be a part of this endeavor. This year, we joined Mr. Roker and Jenna Bush Hager in Houston, Texas, to make our largest donation yet — $125,000 of home furnishings and accessories — to Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos, a haven for children in crisis due to neglect, abuse, or the effects of HIV.

Striving to break the destructive cycle of child abuse, Casa de Esperanza provides a safe place for the children of families in crisis to receive the residential, medical, and psychological care they need to become physically and emotionally healthy. As the children are being safely cared for, parents receive case management and referral services.

It’s our deepest hope that our donation helps to make Casa de Esperanza the welcoming and comfortable place its workers, volunteers, and residents deserve.
