Legend has it that the first Anduze pots were thrown in the 1500s by an artist inspired by Medici urns. This terra-cotta planter was handmade using ancient techniques in Anduze itself, an ancient and picturesque village in the south of France, at un atelier de poterie that's been in operation for more than 400 years. It's signed and dated by the artist.
